  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to achieve a golden and crispy texture.
  • Peel the onions and slice them into 1/4 inch thick rings. Separate the rings and set aside.
  • In one bowl, crack and whisk the eggs. In another bowl, combine the almond flour, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each onion ring into the egg wash, coating it completely, then transfer it to the almond flour mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the coating adheres.
  • Spray a baking sheet with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray. Place the coated onion rings onto the sheet, ensuring they don’t touch.

Baking

  • Bake the onion rings in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with a dipping sauce or enjoyed on their own.
