Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice Use freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled Good-quality feta recommended.
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano, dried
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and ensure they are well-coated. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for enhanced flavor.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Baking

  • Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For added nutrition, consider incorporating bell peppers or zucchini. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
