Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour Ensure it includes xanthan gum for better texture.
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm water Around 110°F for best results.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) For a hint of sweetness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, instant yeast, and salt. Whisk together until evenly mixed.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the warm water, olive oil, and sugar. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes until it becomes slightly frothy.
  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms. The dough should be sticky but manageable.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it gently for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth.
  • Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.

Baking

  • Once risen, punch down the dough to release air bubbles and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Shape it into your desired pizza form (thin crust, thick crust, etc.).
  • If you prefer a crispier crust, you can pre-bake the dough at 425°F for around 10 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Top your pizza with favorite sauces, cheeses, and toppings.
  • Bake your assembled pizza at 425°F for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

Storage: Wrap any leftover dough tightly in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to a month, thawing in the refrigerator overnight before use.
