Vegan Dubai Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup gluten free flour blend Choose a trusted 1 to 1 blend.
  • 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa powder For a deep, smooth chocolate flavor.
  • 3 oz dark chocolate Chopped bar or good quality chips.
  • 1/3 cup neutral oil Avocado or melted coconut oil recommended.
  • 1 cup brown sugar For chewiness and glossy top.
  • 1/2 cup plant milk Use oat or almond milk.
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed Mixed with water as egg replacement.
  • 1 tsp vanilla Enhances chocolate flavor.
  • 1/4 tsp salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder Optional for deeper chocolate flavor.

Optional Toppings

  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios For added luxury.
  • 1 tbsp extra dark chocolate For drizzling on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 F (175 C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  • Make your flax eggs by mixing 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed with 5 tablespoons of water. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

Mixing Ingredients

  • Melt the dark chocolate with the neutral oil gently using a microwave or double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • Whisk in the brown sugar while the chocolate mixture is warm to help achieve a shiny top.
  • Add the flax mixture, vanilla, and plant milk. Stir until the mixture is glossy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the gluten-free flour blend, cocoa powder, salt, and optional espresso powder.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently, stopping when no dry patches remain.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Add chopped pistachios or extra chocolate on top if desired.
  • Bake for 22 to 28 minutes, checking at 22 minutes. The center should look set but still soft.
  • Cool fully, and chill for cleaner slices if you can.

Notes

Brownies improve after resting. Store in an airtight container. For a luxurious touch, drizzle with melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
