  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, and dried herbs.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter.
  • Once the butter is hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts.
  • Sear the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, occasionally spooning the garlic butter sauce over the top.
  • Cook for an additional minute to meld the flavors together.

Serving

  • Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for better flavor. Don't rush the browning of the chicken for a better crust. Adjust seasoning to taste.
