  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced Use halal sausage if needed
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots) Seasonal veggies can be substituted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Substitute with gluten-free soy sauce if needed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt Salt

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by washing and chopping your vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  • Slice the kielbasa into rounds.

Make the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, and paprika.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced kielbasa to the hot pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
  • Add the mixed veggies to the skillet and continue to sauté with the kielbasa for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the kielbasa and veggies. Stir well to evenly coat, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove the skillet from heat and serve warm. Pair with rice or quinoa for a complete meal.

Notes

Cut vegetables consistently for even cooking. Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
