Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  • Pour in the water and olive oil. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture forms a soft dough.
  • Lightly flour your work surface with additional gluten-free flour. Knead the dough gently for about a minute until it becomes smooth.
  • Divide the dough into four equal portions. Roll each piece out into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown spots appear.

Serving

  • Enjoy your flatbreads fresh from the skillet! They are perfect for dipping or as a side to your favorite soup.

Notes

Rest the dough for 10-15 minutes after mixing for better texture. Add seasonings like garlic powder or dried herbs for flavor. Store leftover flatbreads in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for longer storage.
