Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup certified gluten-free oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (or ground linseed)
  • 3/4 cup plant-based milk (almond, soy, or oat milk work well)
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen berries
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter (or seed spread)
  • 1-2 teaspoons psyllium husk powder (optional, for significant fiber boost)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or stevia (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Cinnamon (optional, for flavor)

Instructions

  • 1. In a jar or container, combine the certified gluten-free oats, chia seeds, and ground flaxseeds. If using, add psyllium husk powder and cinnamon.
  • 2. Pour in the plant-based milk. Add the fresh or frozen berries and nut butter (or seed spread).
  • 3. If desired, stir in a natural sweetener (like maple syrup or stevia) and/or a scoop of protein powder.
  • 4. Stir all ingredients thoroughly to ensure even distribution and that no dry clumps remain.
  • 5. Cover the container tightly and place it in the refrigerator for at least four hours, or preferably overnight, for optimal texture.
  • 6. In the morning, give the oats a quick stir. If too thick, add a splash more milk. Enjoy your nutritious and fiber-rich breakfast!
