  • 2 cups gluten-free flour blend (ensure it's a 1:1 ratio blend) Use a quality gluten-free flour for the best texture.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder Ensure it's fresh for proper rising.
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cold butter, cubed (or use a dairy-free alternative) Chill your butter for flaky layers.
  • ¾ cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) For a touch of sweetness.

Preparation

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients until there are no lumps.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and massage it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk and honey/maple syrup, stirring until just combined.
  • Dust your countertop with gluten-free flour, then turn out the dough and gently knead until it holds together.
  • Pat the dough into a rectangle about an inch thick and cut out biscuits using a floured biscuit cutter or glass.
  • Place the biscuits in the air fryer basket, spacing them evenly.

Cooking

  • Air fry the biscuits for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Carefully remove the biscuits and let them cool for a minute before serving warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or refrigerate for a week. Freeze for up to three months and reheat in the air fryer.
