Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Choose tender cuts like ribeye or filet mignon as alternatives.
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped For garnish
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes Optional, for a hint of spice
  • a splash balsamic vinegar For added depth of flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by patting the steak pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a nice sear.
  • In a bowl, season the steak with salt and pepper. Add red pepper flakes if desired.

Cooking

  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add the steak pieces in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  • Once browned, add remaining butter and minced garlic to the pan, swirling for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat, drizzle balsamic vinegar over the steak, and toss to combine.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot, possibly alongside a salad or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Don't crowd the pan to avoid steaming. Allow the steak to rest for a minute before serving. Can be customized with gluten-free alternatives or different proteins.
