  • 1 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley or basil
  • 1 piece egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

For Serving

  • 1 cup marinara sauce For serving with the meatballs.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, gluten-free breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Add the chopped parsley or basil, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix everything together until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, roughly 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Baking

  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

These easy gluten free meatballs can be served with pasta, in sandwiches, or as appetizers. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
