Ingredients
  

Browning Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted Use 2 sticks.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour Can use almond flour or a blend.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips or nuts For added texture.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • If using, fold in chocolate chips or nuts gently into the batter.
  • Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and pour the brownie batter into the pan, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Once baked, let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment overhang and slicing into squares.

Notes

Measure ingredients accurately to ensure perfect brownies. Avoid overmixing the batter to prevent tough brownies. Experiment with baking times as ovens vary.
