Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 1 lb salmon fillets Fresh or thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper To taste

For the bowl

  • 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa Your choice of base
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables Like bell peppers, carrots, snap peas

For the bang bang sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tablespoons sriracha or a similar hot sauce Adjust to taste
  • Fresh cilantro For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and drizzle them with olive oil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Create the Bang Bang Sauce

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and sriracha. Adjust the spicy level to your taste.
  • Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Bowl

  • Once the salmon is cooked, let it cool for a couple of minutes before cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  • In each bowl, layer cooked rice or quinoa, mixed vegetables, and salmon.
  • Drizzle a generous amount of bang bang sauce over the top and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for best flavor. Customize your bowl with available veggies. Broil the salmon for an extra crispy texture if desired.
