Ingredients

Potatoes

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes Or your choice of firm potatoes

Seasoning

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil Or melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika For that cozy fall flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish (optional)

  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly. If using larger potatoes, cut them into bite-sized pieces. Ensure that all pieces are roughly the same size for even cooking.

Seasoning

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until all potatoes are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd them. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • The potatoes are ready when they are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender inside.

Serving

  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Choose the right potatoes, don't overcrowd the basket for maximum crispiness, and adjust seasonings to your taste. For extra crunch, toss your potatoes in a bit of cornstarch before seasoning. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, reheating in the air fryer for best results.
