  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Gradually add water (or non-dairy milk) to the mixture until it achieves a smooth consistency, similar to pancake batter.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated. Let any excess batter drip off.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Once hot, arrange the batter-coated cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking oil for added crispiness if desired. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cooked cauliflower wings with the hot sauce until they’re evenly coated. If you prefer a milder flavor, consider combining the hot sauce with a tablespoon of honey or agave.
  • Return the sauced cauliflower wings to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize slightly, which results in an even crispier texture.
  • Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or your favorite dipping sauce.
