Pasta

  • 8 ounces 8 ounces of pasta (penne or your favorite shape)

Chicken and Bacon

  • 1 pound 1 pound of chicken breast, cubed Use fresh chicken for best flavor.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Be sure to salt the water well! Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Chicken

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once heated, add the cubed chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking the Bacon

  • In the same skillet, add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-6 minutes. Once cooked, remove the bacon and drain on paper towels.

Creating the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat and pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in the ranch seasoning mix and let it come to a simmer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Combining

  • Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and crispy bacon back into the skillet. Stir to combine everything, ensuring the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Serving
