  • 1 cup stuffing mix Leave some room for variations!
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Can substitute with sage or thyme.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste turkey gravy Optional, for serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, stuffing mix, dried cranberries, onion, celery, beaten egg, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.
  • Using your hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve warm, drizzled with turkey gravy for an extra layer of flavor.

Notes

Don't overmix to keep the stuffing balls tender. Use fresh herbs for extra flavor, and consider variations like adding feta cheese for a Mediterranean twist or using gluten-free stuffing.
