  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Can be substituted with gluten-free blend.
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can be swapped for white chocolate.
  • 0.5 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.

Combine Ingredients

  • Gradually sift in the flour and salt, stirring until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  • Gently fold in the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and crushed pretzels.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Cooling

  • Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish. Lift them out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat briefly in the microwave for fresh-baked taste.
