  • Cook the Pasta: Begin by cooking your pasta according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  • Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, add more olive oil if needed, and sauté the minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  • Combine the Pasta and Chicken: Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Serve and Garnish: Divide among serving plates, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and add red pepper flakes if desired.
