  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken works best.
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can mix with Monterey Jack for variation.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Optional; use any favorite veggies.
  • 2 cups cooked pasta Penne or rotini works great.

Seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cooked pasta, and frozen vegetables if using. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well coated.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring a generous layer.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For the best results, use rotisserie chicken. You can prepare the casserole a day in advance and refrigerate it until ready to bake.
