Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, crumble it, and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté the diced onion until translucent. If using, toss in spinach and cook just until wilted.

Mixing and Baking

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  • In a large bowl, add crumbled bacon, sautéed onion, and spinach. Pour the egg mixture over and mix until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  • Pour everything into a greased 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and the top starts to brown.
  • Allow cooling for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
